SYNOPSIS

Shin Naka is a solo travel blogger known for exploring beaches across Asia.
When a global pandemic brings his journeys to a halt, he creates a game to continue traveling—this time, through a virtual world.
As the digital waves lap against pixelated shores, he walks the beaches as himself.
But even here, something is wrong. The undead are waiting.

CAST

SHIN NAKA

Born in 1972 and raised in Osaka. While studying at Waseda University, he worked at a computer graphics studio, contributing to TV, commercials, and video games. After graduation, he joined a game company as a CG designer.

In 2022, he made his long-awaited debut as both director and lead in “Beach of the Dead,” a game he personally crafted based on his travel blog.

MUSIC

KIPPU

Robin Girardet, known as kippu, began composing music on the Amiga 500 with ProTracker in 1993, emerging from the legendary Amiga demo scene as part of groups like Da Jormas. Under aliases such as kippu, kinderkompost, ebinotako, otaslogi-c, and workbench, he has released tracks across various labels—sometimes even on vinyl.

His sound ranges from electro to industrial techno, gabber, speedcore, and noise, and he continues to perform live across Europe (Paris, Milan, Berlin…) and Asia (Japan, Malaysia).

Motivated by his longtime friend Tiger on Beat, he contributes original tracks to the game Beach of the Dead—blending gritty rhythms with pixelated horror.

FUTON RECORDS

Futton Records is an independent label created in 1996 by DJ TIGER ON BEAT (a.k.a Shin Naka) and VJ Minchi. They organized the “Skull Polygon” series of club events that combined games and gabba.

In recent years, they have changed their focus to an indie game label, and are now releasing their first work, “Beach of the Dead”.
